The more I play this new Peter White cd, Good Day, the more I like it. His familiar nylon string acoustic guitar sound (which is what we like) is prominent throughout, with good upbeat songs like "Just Give Me a Chance" and "Bright" in his familiar style, and some funky tunes like "Temptation" and "Mission To Mars" where the Phillipe Saisse influence is more evident - and I think that is a great combination. Phillipe and Peter's styles make a wonderful blend of piano and guitar. I especially like the flamenco influenced "Ramon's Revenge" which is my favorite cut. This is an excellent collection of songs in a variety of styles, the production quality is outstanding, more very enjoyable music from the consistent Peter White.

Peter White's music has the amazing ability to mellow me out, relax me, and yet not sound like elevator music. He and his musicians are so talented, and this new CD is no exception. Despite the sense of "ah, peace -- deep breath" his music brings, I find myself tapping my feet at the same time. Love his wonderful jazz!! Love the new CD!!!

Hadn't seen a Peter White album in awhile. Glad I bought this one. Peter White is a soothing jazz guitarist with a laid back style that I particularly like. I have most of his albums. The songs on this album are all pleasing to listen to and very relaxing. This is good, cool jazz for people who like smooth jazz guitar music. Well worth buying.

A wonderful listen; almost as good as seeing him in concert with Rick Braun, Minda Abair or Dave Koz.

I'm a big fan of Peter White but feel he fell short on this one. All but the title song I found not to be his best. Usually I could sit and listen to each song he has produced. However, this time I found this cd to be disappointing. I'm still a dedicated fan to Peter White though...he is still one of my favorite artists.

This recording is so squeaky clean, so homogenised it is bereft of any musical intrigue. Annoyingly repetitive and truely forgetable. Avoid.

Peter White is one of my top 5 smooth jazz artists! Don't be afraid to purchase this album, you'll be more than pleased!

I've been a Peter White fan for a while now. I got this album with much anticipation, and it certainly hasn't disappointed. Excellent phrasing on the guitar, mellow rich sound. His fingering is elegant and his style, soothing. Highly recommended!

This is the first CD by Peter White for me and now I'm a total fan. My favorite song is "Bright" which I knew I had to have after hearing it only one time. I bought the CD especially for that one song, but totally lucked out that the rest of the tracks were so good. Truely a rich, wonderful collection.

As a avid listener of smooth jazz, Peter White is one of my favorites!
