At just over a foot long (12-1/2 by 3-3/4 by 1-1/4 inches, length by width by depth), the G9112 will fit most cabinets and display cases. It's easy to install, too--simply mount the bar, plug it in, and you're done (you'll probably want to use wire guides to tuck the cords out of the way). Three-year warranty. I went for this unreviewed lamp with a bit of of fear, but it turned out to be just what I was needing for a kitchenette. Sturdy metal construction, good materials and workmanship.
The Amazon title is a bit misleading, though, since there's no dimmer but an off-low-hi switch (this is however explained further down).

I bought two fixtures and like them so well I am ordering another. The surface of the glass lens gets pretty hot for 20 watt bulbs so be careful. The two-level switch is a nice feature for a more subdued "mood" (or late night snacks!)

I bought this with lots of reservations, mainly for what happens when the bulbs burn out. I have had this for well over a year, use it every time I'm in the kitchen, which is a lot, I cook every meal I eat, and the bulbs have not burnt out. It does a wonderful job, my kitchen counters were too dark for me and this helps more than I can explain. I'm buying another today!
