I went for this unreviewed lamp with a bit of of fear, but it turned out to be just what I was needing for a kitchenette. Sturdy metal construction, good materials and workmanship.

The Amazon title is a bit misleading, though, since there's no dimmer but an off-low-hi switch (this is however explained further down).

I bought two fixtures and like them so well I am ordering another. The surface of the glass lens gets pretty hot for 20 watt bulbs so be careful. The two-level switch is a nice feature for a more subdued "mood" (or late night snacks!)

I bought this with lots of reservations, mainly for what happens when the bulbs burn out. I have had this for well over a year, use it every time I'm in the kitchen, which is a lot, I cook every meal I eat, and the bulbs have not burnt out. It does a wonderful job, my kitchen counters were too dark for me and this helps more than I can explain. I'm buying another today!

It works as advertised, but I didn't use the included screws to place it under my kitchen cabinet. Instead I used foam mounting squares and two weeks later, it hasn't fallen.

I purchased this 2 lamp unit for a student size desk with a hutch. The desktop is not well lit from ambient light and there is no room for a conventional table top desk light. This lamp solved my problem perfectly. The light installed easily in about 5 minutes. It worked perfectly right out of the box and the low and high intensity settings are wonderful for reading paperwork or using my laptop.
Several others in my office have noted my lighting upgrade and are in the process of ordering their own units. Thank you Amazon, this one is a keeper!

Purchased two of these of the kitchen counters. very good light. nice tone. two setting. But.......upon delivery both of them had one of the lights burnt out. had to purchase two lights at six dollars a piece. Recommend better testing at the factory and/or better packaging.

great item for a great price. shopped around and couldn't find one cheaper w/ the same quality.

Love this lighting! We bought originally at a retail store but they didn't have enough in stock. So ordered more here. Love these lights!! Two settings gives you options on how much light you want and lights provide enough light we don't use overhead lights anymore in the kitchen (hate flourescents)! And they really illuminate the counter top so you can see what you are doing. Price was great and very easy to install. Highly recommend this product!!

This light bar is very easy to install. I bought it for my computer work desk and it works nicely. Especially like the low and high settings.

I got undercounter light to shine some light on my new slate backsplash. The light is great and was very easy to install. I just wish I had been smart enough to install light before I installed my backsplash. I could ended that unsightly wire.

All in all, I love this light and the dimmer makes this a even better light. I have not had it for more than a week, so I can say anything about durability.
