Bought two of these to install on cabinets flanking the stove. These have two settings, low provides warm lighting that is bright enough to see everything below, the high setting is very bright and much whiter. Installation was fairly easy but fixture was not very stable on the two small screws. I ended up using a third small wood screw to prevent unintended movement, this worked fine. The lights are not centered on the fixture so you may have to do shifting about to get them centered under the cabinets. Lights do get hot on high setting but not bad enough to be felt too much through the cabinet, on low setting it is much less noticable. These would be perfect for us if the lights themselves were able to be moved and aimed at certain spots, that would really help.

Pros:
Bright lighting on high setting.
Nice warm lighting on low setting.
Both setting illuminate items below the cabinet well.
Sturdy fixtures.

Cons:
Installation could be made easier and more stable.
Aiming the lights would be very helpful.
Lights can get very hot even at low wattage.

These lights are exactly what I was looking for. I bought 2 of the 3 light unites and 1 d light unit to go under the cabnets in my L shaped counter tops.

These look great.

We were looking for task lighting under a row of cabinets in an office. They did not want fluorescent lights. This was a perfect solution and gives brightness control (Hi/Low) at each work station. Easy to install as well. Only wish the three bulb version was centered in the fixture.

purchased this light for a christmas gift and found one of the halogen lights burned out and hardware kit missing. returned immediately.
