We enjoy Alton Brown and he never fails to teach us something. We love to cook and his DVDs are so full of info that it is easy to watch them more than once.

I'm hooked on Good Eats. I love to cook, and this kooky cook tells you all about what is going into your cooking, plus what it does to the final cookie. On the chocolate cookie episode alone he covers how to make three variations of cookie: Flat and crispy, High and Puffy, and the chewy. I have not watched the other episodes, but from watching his show many times on TV I am sure that they are up to the Alton Brown and Food Network standards of excellence.

Forgot to mention that I actually bought this for my daughter as she is the cookie baker in our house. I had already seen the show and thought I could get her also hooked on Alton Brown. He now has a new fan.

In addition to this DVD you may consider purchasing the following book for some really good cookie recipes. Nestle Toll House Best Loved Cookies There is a hardcover and softcover version of this book, so be sure you are ordering the one you want.
