Good friends are hard to find,
By JJ (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Good Friend: 10 Traits of Enduring Ties (Hardcover)
This pretty little hardcover gift book should be used in schools to help our children develop the most important life skill: picking good friends and being a good friend. The Parrotts' clear writing style and personal experiences makes this book easy, enjoyable and inspiring reading. The 10 Traits listed in the book say that a good friend: makes time, keeps a secret, cares deeply, provides space, speaks the truth, forgives faults, remains faithful, laughs easily, celebrates success and says a prayer. This book is a good catalyst toward self-evaluation. I have used it as small group curriculum at our church youth group with great success!
