I attended a cooking class given by Debbie, and she used several of the recipes from this cookbook. She prepared some of the tastiest dishes I've ever had. The class members were delighted! Her recipes are very easy to follow, don't require complex, hard-to-find ingredients, and are a joy to put together. I've made her "Cha Cha Chicken Salad" twice in one week! I've also been pleased with the "Bacon Tomato Tartlets". Next, I'm trying "Hearts of Palm and Artichoke Crostini" and "Steak Soup". Thank you, Debbie, for a great cookbook!

Debbie did a cooking demonstration for an organization I belong to,,, making several items from the book. Everything seemed so simple to make, yet the end results were so awesome! I have made many things from her book and even plan my parties using her book as my guide--listing recipes, page numbers and making shopping lists. I had a farewell party for a friend and made several items from the book and everyone raved... my friends kept questioning whether I really made everything. I finally pulled out my menu list with page numbers along with the cook book to convince them. Since then, at least one friend has purchased the book and told me she too loves it and has made many of the items for family and friends with similar results. Every time I see her, she thanks me again for introducing her to the book! I grew up in a large family and learned to cook "country-style" from my mom and grandmother. This book has introduced me to new ways of cooking, maybe a little more gourmet! Thanks Debbie for making cooking and entertaining fun again!

This book was a perfect choice for me. I enjoy cooking and baking but am challenged at times for a creative dish or menu. The recipes are delicious!

I have had this cookbook for quite sometime. Every recipe I have made and taken anywhere was gobbled up and everyone asks for the recipe. Two of my friends have ordered the book after trying some of the recipes. Great entertaining recipes.

Bought this thinking it was a second printing of the first book (which is great). Its not the same, but if its anything like the black cover one it will be great

I am passionate about cookbooks and this is my favorite. It was given to me by a friend who has worked with Debbie in the past. I was thrilled to get a signed copy but even more thrilled when I opened it and started using it. It truely is the one book I open time and time again for delicious and easy to follow recipes. I have never been dissappointed. I'll be first in line for the next cookbook Debbie comes out with! Thanks Debbie!

A friend gave me this cookbook for my 49th birthday, and I love it. She had already "starred" several of her favorite recipes in it. I have many cookbooks but I love this one because the recipes are easy, modern, and delicious. I also love the explanations and stories about where she got many of them. Thanks, Debbie - and I am looking forward to the follow up cookbook that's coming out soon.

I received this as a gift from a friend who knew of Debbie Meyer because they live in the same area. It is a fabulous cookbook and one of my most relied-upon resources. There is a recipe for just about every type of food for every type of meal you would want to serve - from brunch to appetizers to any kind of dinner. I have recommended it to others who loved it and I am buying several as gifts this year for the holidays.

This Cookbook is wonderful! A refreshing insight on entertaining and cooking. The receipes are delicious.

Recently Debbie Meyer made a presentation which I attended. I must say that this is the first cookbook that I, myself, have ever purchased. Every other one that I own was a gift or handed down to me. Mrs. Meyer's samples and presentation so inspired me that I, even though I am not particularly fond of cooking, bought the book. Every sample we had was mouth-watering and her demonstrations and instructions in the book were simple to follow and completely within my abilities.
