I ordered this disc after hearing "Brite Life" on SmoothJazz.com. What surprised me is how polished the entire cd is! Every song is excellent and it escapes me how Duncan Millar doesn't receive more airplay. After listening to the first track, "Super-Real Feel", I became a Duncan Millar fan. "High Sierra" is an amazing track complete with excellent trumpet riffs and "The Groove" is a smooth jazz classic. This disc is a must for every smooth jazz fan!

I heard Duncan Millar by chance and I have to admit that it was a very nice surprise. If you are a smooth jazz lover this album will fill you up with plenty of catchy tracks. Millar keyboard delivers a solid performance and one thing that it really caught my attention is his selfishness. He plays and let play. There's enough room for other great musicians to show their talents. Tony Campbell's job on guitar, bass and drum programing is outstanding as well Chris Standring solos on guitar. Horns are also nicely arranged and they fit perfectly well with Millar's style. "The Groove" and "Fly your own kite" are probably the best tracks but overall the rest of the album keeps up in the same level. I truly recomend this album to those smooth jazz fans and it's a shame this artist doesn't get too much airplay here in The States.

This dude is very underrated. Still trying to figure out why he doesn't get more radio airplay.
