I was quite sure this book would have hundreds of five star reviews and was surprised and dismayed to see that that's not yet the case. I have volunteered in hospice care for over a decade, and have read many books on this subject; _Good to Go_ is one of the best, and certainly one of the most direct and practical.

The author has the unique ability to present complex, emotionally fraught information in a simple but not simplistic manner. She reminds me of a hospice nurse -- caring, funny, absolutely practical, probably has seen it all and then some, and willing to discuss some of the toughest things life and death throw our way.

Do yourself -- and your relatives -- a favor: buy this book and read it. There is so much we don't know about death and dying, but we do know that it's inevitable and you can only make things better by being prepared. This book is one of the few I've read that will actually help you to do that.

This is a casual memoir of how the author dealt with the illness and death of her parents and a friend. It is chatty and easy reading. In the course of the book, one learns of successful coping strategies and of things that can go wrong if you are not prepared. Useful for those who are just started to deal with the mortality of a loved one. A well-organized guide, it is not.

This is important for seniors. The families of the elderly will certainly appreciate having this information when needed.
Be Prepared.

I used this book to prepare for being the executor of my father's estate and also to gather all the important information for my children. Very informative. Anything that will make the whole process easier at a difficult time gets my vote. Do your heir a favor and get this book.

A good book to start your thinking about someones death. We all should take time to consider what to do when an older or terminal person we love is nearing the end. It happens to us all. Nice stories to illistrate the points being made.

This book had more stories than helpful information on preparing for your own or your loved one's death. I need more practival information that this book presented.
