4.0 out of 5 stars How do I know this book is excellent?
Because I should hate it. I mean, come on. A book that so clearly screams 'Chick Lit' with its title and its cover? I'm a 31-year-old male who hates sentimentality and 'Sex and the City' with equal fervor. This should be the last book I would enjoy. But I did enjoy it. A lot. Why? If you pick this up expecting Chick Lit, you will be disappointed, and I will probably be glad that you are disappointed, because you suck. But if you pick it up looking for excellent, funny, well-crafted stories about wholly unique characters, that's exactly what you'll get. And I will be glad that you got it. Because you are awesome.
