I got so sick of looking at my old cheap silverware holder so I decided to buy a new one. I absolutely love this utensil organizer.

I simply snapped in the holders into the grooves and I was ready to organize. The larger right side of the tray can be adjusted which is a great touch. I can stack a maximum of 6 silverware pieces into each adjustable silverware slot (total of 36).

I highly recommend this product.

I've had a heck of a time finding a utensil organizer that would fit in my itty-bitty kitchen drawers. This one does - just barely, but that's good enough for me! It's pretty nifty, too, with the movable clips and the expandable side. More useful for silverware than kitchen gadgetry and larger utensils.

I have a narrow drawer (about 10 inches wide) and this organizer is perfect for these old drawers! It expanded to fit the drawer perfectly. The only improvement would be to make it a little more expandable in the length as well as the width. The silverware fits perfectly into the little holders and the non-skid buttons on the bottom keep the organizer from sliding when opening/closing the drawer. I love this organizer more than any I have ever used!

We had Kraftmaid cabinets installed for our wetbar and the drawers on both sides were 10" wide. I had a hard time finding a utensil organizer that was under 10" to fit inside then low and behold I found the Oxo Good Grips 1314600 Expandable Utensil Organizer and it fits perfect. Recommend Highly!

The drawer in my kitchen was in need of some serious organization and this product is awesome for that. I love the fact that it is expandable because the drawers in my apartment are kind of a weird size. Definitely helpful, and I plan on using this for a long time for storage.

Good product, seems like pretty good quality plastic and rubber, and expanded to fit the drawer well. Only drawback is that each divider (each compartment has 2 dividers) can only hold about 4-5 pieces of flatware (i.e. forks, knives, spoons) before that divider gets too full and then the drawer doesn't close. Overall, using all of the dividers was not ideal because I had too much flatware to put in the organizer. I took out some of the dividers and that allowed me to put more pieces in each compartment.

As the other reviewer mentioned, yes this is a little pricey. I have owned it for a little over a month and am very pleased with it! Love how it can expand to make more room if you have a bigger drawer. We have very narrow drawers and this fits perfectly when completely collapsed. Another great feature OXO got right was the space saving this little organizer can create. Two flatware per slot by placing one one way and the other the opposite way is great for us! We have a double set of flatware and couldn't even fit it all in our old tray, it was no problem with this!! Great buy!

The organizer is great in terms of features -- expands, helps stack utensils.

Unfortunately, I can't use either of those features:

Expands - The organizer only expands horizontally. Since all my kitchen drawers are pretty much exactly the unexpanded width of the organizer, I can't use the feature. Furthermore, the organizer wastes extra drawer space by not expanding the length of the drawer.

Stacks Utensils - As you'll notice in the product image, there are two tabs per utensil tray for "stacking utensils". This is to save space IF you have silverware that has FLAT handles. My silverware have rounded black rubber handles, and do not stack at all, leading to some very exasperating drawer jams. I ended up taking out all the tabs.

So I basically wound up with a plastic utensil tray. Of course, this is still way better than throwing all your silverware into a kitchen drawer.

I would rate this tray higher if I were able to use the features. But usability annoyances and lack of some features (length expansion) keep me from rating this higher based on the price.

I was very pleased with this silverware organizer. The ability to expand it substantially makes it perfect for either a narrow or wide drawer. Because of the way each of the three vertical compartments for silverware have "slots," you can fit two rows of silverware in each. I only wish that the organizer were slightly deeper so that silverware could be stacked one or two more pieces higher. If you have thick silverware as I do, this will work, but the top pieces may rest on top rather than being held perfectly in place.

At first I thought it was an ugly looking product (especially with the inserts). But it stays in a drawer, and once you have everything arranged inside - it's quite attractive. The functionality is amazing, especially with the addition of those adjustable inserts. It organizes so neatly. I have quite a wide flatware drawer so I bought two and it's just perfect for my flatware set that serves 12 along with extra space for other essentials. Great product!
