Why did I wait so long to find this?,

Anyone who reads my reviews knows I love and own many OXO products. When my "turner" broke (I actually call them spatulas, although I also call those flimsy things that get the cake batter off the sides of bowls spatulas, too, so . . . I could be wrong), I came online and looked immediately to OXO for a new one. The green naturally caught my eye, being my favorite color. This comes in many other colors, though, so pick your own to match your home. I bought it, and I LOVE IT! Not much more to say, really. It withstands very hot temperatures, so you don't need to worry AT ALL about it melting. You can even rest it on the side of a hot pan, while cooking, and it will be totally fine (just don't let the handle rest on or near your burner, of course). Dishwasher-safe and very sturdy. BUY IT and LOVE IT!
My only suggestion to OXO is to put out a few different sizes of this. I'd love to see one wider than this, and then another size even wider and perhaps a little deeper -- for larger things like quesadillas and BIG pancakes (a treat around here).

Can't Stand the Heat,
By
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Nylon Flexible Turner, Tomato (Kitchen)
I was surprised how poorly the head of this nylon turner stood up to the heat of my frying pan. The end of the turner is now blackened and somewhat deformed. The design and action of the turner are great but the nylon head does not hold up well to the extreme heat of the frying pan. The surface temperature of the pan can well exceed the 400F limit of the spatula. Be carefull not to foolishly leave it in the frying pan as I did. Should work fine for bakeware however.

I use my flipper in the kitchen all the time. It's really nice when breading meats, with flour, then egg and bread crunbs. Your hands don't get a mess and it don't clog up like tongs do.
It did take a bit to get use to ,, not sticking it to deep. but now it almost all I use.

The spatula is great, nothing sticks to it. Works great with the cast iron skillet from Lodge Logic that i got from here.

I ordered this lovely spatula to help ease cookies off a sheet without major crumbliness. Haven't used it for cookies yet, but I love how it worked for making a nice over easy fried egg. Slipped under it smooth as butter, just wide enough to fit an egg but not too wide to overwhelm the pan. Washes up beautifully in the dishwasher, no bending, no melting. Fun colors to choose from to add some pizazz to your kitchen drawer. Love it!

Best ever!!!,

This is the best turner I have ever owned. Turns eggs perfectly, actually it turns everything perfectly and food doesn't stick to it.

Nylon Flexible Turner,
By
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Nylon Flexible Turner, Blueberry (Kitchen)
I purchased the nylon flexible turner after owning an identical turner the past two years. My original turner is still in excellent shape, but, since it is my favorite turner, I bought a second turner as a backup. I like the thin edge, which slips under the eggs without breaking them and which doesn't melt in the hot skillet.

Since I bought this spatula, my others are all collecting dust!
I really love it. It's so thin that the cookies don't crumble. And it takes the heat of a frying pan, too. I plan on getting a few more and getting rid of the dust collectors! The price is really right too.

. . . it failed the ultimate test--turning over an egg for an "easy over" presentation. In fact, I haven't messed up a fried egg so badly since I was a young bride--and that's a long time ago! It did well with other tasks such as pancakes, burgers, fish, etc. However, the turner kept sticking when I tried to get it under the egg, which was cooked in an analon saute pan with a little oil. Ergo, a decidely not pretty egg to see on your plate. I find that the thinnest and smoothest turners work the best with delicate eggs. I won't be using this turner to lift cookies off the cookie sheet either!
