5.0 out of 5 stars Oxo Shower Mirror
It works for me. I use it to shave my head and face in the shower. It has a slight magnifying effect which is helpful for the face shaving. The suction cup works well. There is a spring that assists in maintaining the suction and pulling the small tab releases it easily. The holder for the razor is good in that it holds on to my Mach III well so it doesn't get bumped...

1.0 out of 5 stars AVOID OXO Mirror
Oxo Good Grips 1213800 Suction Fogless Mirror

This is the worst mirror I have used. The suction cup for fastening to the shower wall barely works, the image is distorted, and it does not at all come close to being "fogless." In fact, I had a plain mirror that fogged up less than this mirror does. OXO should stick to kitchen gadgets.

It works for me. I use it to shave my head and face in the shower. It has a slight magnifying effect which is helpful for the face shaving. The suction cup works well. There is a spring that assists in maintaining the suction and pulling the small tab releases it easily. The holder for the razor is good in that it holds on to my Mach III well so it doesn't get bumped and fall.

I've never had a no fog shower mirror that didn't fog up eventually and this one stayed fog free as confirmed by the bathroom mirror that was completely fogged over at the same time. Knowing a bit about anti fog for goggles I place my mirror away from the water stream so it doesn't get washed over with water as this seems to disable anti-fogging agents. I can see the antifog working (the face of the mirror changes the surface tension of the water keeping it from forming into drops and thus a fog) by looking closely and seeing the surface as wet but the water is not forming into droplets. I gave it five stars because it works, and its a nice design, and its not very expensive. Anti-fog is always problematic,in my experience, so I'm impressed that it worked (for more see the wikipedia article on antifog).

UPDATE: restoring the anti-fog after washing
I've had this for a while now and washed the dust off with just water and dried it with a soft cloth. This removed the anti fog properties. So to fix the problem I grabbed my Aquaseal Sea Drops Anti-Fog Lens Mask Cleaner McNett Scuba Dive Diving SnorkelingSea Drops anti-fog and applied it to the mirror and buffed it with a soft cloth as in the directions. Anti fog properties were restored. I would drop a star from the review for this but overall I still like the mirror and have two of them now.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fogless mirror -used in the shower, July 4, 2009

My cheapo eBay mirror fell and cracked, so I was looking for a replacement. I wish that I had found this one earlier.

I had some initial problems with the mirror staying attached to the tile in my shower. I've had it suspended in the same place without incident for a month now.

I have had no issues with the mirror fogging. I keep the mirror away from the water stream, perhaps this is why it has remained clean and clear.

The mirror is a good size and gives a clear reflection. I was hoping that I would look more handsome with this mirror, but unfortunately that was not the case: at least it did not crack!

This mirror is not at all fogless nor does it stay suctioned to the wall for very long. After 3 falls to the shower floor, the suction cup broke off rendering it completely useless.

Researched and researched and every mirror claimed it was fogless. So, I finally purchased the Oxo Good Grips 1213800 Suction Fogless Mirror. I put it on the shower wall, which was easy to install. The suction cup holds the mirror nicely to the wall. The next morning, while showering, I starting shaving to a fogged up mirror. So, as I had to do with all my previous mirrors, I had to spray it with the shower head to clear the steam from the mirror. And, as usual, within seconds, the mirror fogged up again. So, as I mentioned in the title, I do not believe there is any such item as a fogless mirror while taking a warm or hot shower. So, don't spend extra money on an expensive mirror claiming to be fogless. Go with a cheap brand and hope for the best.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not a winner, January 6, 2010
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Suction Fogless Mirror (Kitchen)
This mirror has such a distorted image I could not safely shave with it - like a fun-house mirror. Maybe the item was damaged in shipping, maybe is was just cheap. Either way I sent it back immediately.

Literally foggy upon arrival and never got/gets better. I use antifog liquid for scuba lenses on it to no avail. Junk.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Product, December 27, 2010
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Suction Fogless Mirror (Kitchen)
This mirror appears slightly foggy before you even use it, over time, even when dry, it gets foggier, and fogger. After owning for about 13 months, it is unusable, even when dry. The suction cup works fine as long as you have a smooth plastic shower wall, it will not work on small or textured tiles at all. Would not recommend this product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good At First, June 3, 2009
This review is from: OXO Good Grips Suction Fogless Mirror (Kitchen)
Have had it since March this year and it worked well for a week, then it started fogging up. I usually throw water on it and it stays somewhat fog-free, but then there's water droplets on it. Tried moving it higher on the wall today and the suction cup broke off. I like Oxo, but this was disappointing.
