straight forward/Different without being "out there",

This review is from: Good Housekeeping 100 Best One-Dish Meals (Hardcover)
The recipes in this book are straight forward and are at a comfortable beginner or intermediate level. A well stocked kitchen will have most ingredients. This cookbook is great for making something out-of-the-ordinary and not too difficult. Different without being "out there". Not to mention tasty too!
I love that this cookbook gives an honest estimation of "prep" time with each recipe, serving details (carbs, fat, cholesterol, etc.) and full page photos with 1/3 -1/4 of the recipes. I also love that the spiral binding keeps the book open to the page you are working from. The best recommendation I can give is to say that I would give this cookbook as a gift -- And I will! |
