Lets get this started with what the show is. Imagine Boston Legal, but instead of being clever and addressing serious issues, you amplify the comedic moments of the show and add a dash of fantastical fun.

The show focuses on two best friend lawyers who practice the law their way contending with the corporate culture instilled by their new boss played by Heather Locklear. The first few episodes of season 3 have shown the characters butting heads with her, but in a feel the other out sort of way. She's put up roadblocks and rewarded their successes while punishing their failures in a fairly whimsical manner. And that's what this show is. Whimsy.

Are Franklin & Bash ever going to stand before a Supreme Court? No. Are they ever going to handle a deeply serious rape or murder case? Not likely. Will they defend a vigilante who dresses as a goofy superhero? Of course. The show has the same imagination and heart you find in other similar light shows like Castle, but without the tension and drama you find in those same shows. It's an hour of escape you can enjoy. Get a few laughs and relax.

Is it for everyone? No, but if you enjoy the first free episode and like the humor in it, then expect more of the same throughout.

Grrrt show! Heather Locklear adds a little flavor to season 3 (as if it really needed any) - plus some fond memories from back in the day (her early years as a blonde bombshell). I just watched all 3 seasons for the first time and all of this year's eps - not sure why I never checked this show out before now. It's funny, witty, and always sexy. Check it out! RH

I really liked the first two seasons of Franklin & Bash. The approach to law was creative and there was more to the characters than just being hot shot lawyers, the backstories were equally interesting. I'm not sure why Heather Locklear joined the cast, except perhaps as a balance to some of the rather overt sexism that crops up from time to time. (I'd be thrilled if they'd get that polka dot bikini off the opening credits...) I understand the role she's been assigned, hard core legal executive, but she can be pretty over the top and this takes away from the fun aspects of the show. If you want a fun show that makes a point without taking itself too seriously, this is the show. Jury's still out on Heather though..

Heather was nice to look at and at times amusing but the meat and potatoes are Franklin and Bash, would be nice if Pindar and Carmen came back, then again it would be nice if they brought the show back after season 4

Funny and entertaining with a serious twist thrown in when needed. Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Brekin Meyer are a great combo with just enough star power thrown in to keep those of all ages laughing throughout each episode.

The show has been fun to watch, with some interesting twists when least expected. However, I wonder about its longevity. It is unclear how Heather Locklear's character will fit into the plot. Also, I think more use could be made of Carmen and Pindar. The show seemed to focus more on Pindar this season, but more can be explored with him. As with Carmen, we know little about her character, despite the potential to develop some interesting stories around her character. I'm curious to see the direction the show goes for the next season.
