5.0 out of 5 stars Faster than Celestine Phropecy
I received this book as a gift. It has something for everyone both personally and professionally. Now that its available in the US I hope I'm "ahead of the curve" to use it for holiday and client gift giving. It's a really quick read with practical ideas you think about long after you finish it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Trite and Trivial
This fable is trite and forced and serves only to dress up as a book-length read the old saw that luck equals preparation plus opportunity -- and, oh, it's the journey that's important. The tale contains no original insight and is told on a level that is so mundane that it is neither engaging nor thought-provoking. I tried to like it, but just couldn't.

This is one of the most hopeful and inspiring books I had read. I loved it so much that I bought copies to give as Christmas gifts! Very uplifting !!! And it is such a nice reminder that opportunity is always here, and that every plot (no matter where in the forest) has the potential to succeed. It's what we think, act, and do that makes it successful or not.

May you find your 4 leaf clover and your good luck life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very inspirational., March 2, 2007
This review is from: Good Luck: Creating the Conditions for Success in Life and Business (Hardcover)
This is a very good book. Unlike a lot of other books that keep going on and on over hundreds of pages basically trying to make the same point, this book has a very good short story that's easy to understand and unforgettable. I want to read it to my kids someday.

5.0 out of 5 stars What an Empowering Little Book!, December 9, 2004
This review is from: Good Luck: Creating the Conditions for Success in Life and Business (Hardcover)
This is a classic little tale within a story that demonstrates the difference between the luck and good luck. I know many of you out there are relying on winning the lotto-to achieve financial freedom. I admit. I know this first hand. I wished for years that my financial salvation would come through six winning numbers on a NY lotto ticket. Then one day it hit me, what if this never happens? ... what's my backup plan? So I started working on building several streams of income AND made a commitment not to rely on the lottery and not to buy lottery tickets for at least 1 year. (It was one of the greatest decisions I have ever made.)

The essence of this fabulous little book is that you create your own luck. Yes you can get lucky and you may be the next mega jackpot winner...but if you want to GREATLY increase your chances of getting luck without SUPER MIRACLES I urge you to read this book today. I think its message is classic and timeless. This book also makes a great gift for anyone that you know needs to hear this message.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Gift to Pass On, December 2, 2004

This book has been inspirational to me. I came across it in a bookstore and picked it up and read it in a night. Sid and Nod--two nights--they kind of compete to find good luck. Reminds me of the Alchemist. Just a short fable that tells you, you'll get what you want if you realize luck is all around you. It's up to you to go out and get it. This is a must-read by two professors from Barcelona. I'm buying 20 books to give to all of my clients this year.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really makes you think, November 18, 2004
This review is from: Good Luck: Creating the Conditions for Success in Life and Business (Hardcover)
Someone gave me a copy and I liked the book a lot. It really makes you think about the extent to which you control the good things in your life.

There's a big difference between being lucky and winning the lotto, and reaping good fortune because you've made the right choices in your business and your life.

In business, you can be a whiner or a winner. This book hits that nail right on the head.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great wisdom in an interesting and memorable story, November 12, 2004
This review is from: Good Luck: Creating the Conditions for Success in Life and Business (Hardcover)
There are countless books in the market which attempt to tell you that success comes from preparation, hard work, fortitude, etc. I read many of them, but I forgot them real fast. The reason why "Good Luck" is so outstanding is that it tells the whole thing, how somebody can enjoy "good luck" consistently, in a very interesting and memorable story that one can hardly forget and can even reinforce itself through telling it to others. I think most people know the principles, and so a good reminder (two knights in a forest) will work very well. In fact, the style of this book is a close resemblance of "Who moved my cheese?", though I think "Good Luck" is even better, both content and story writing wise.

For your information, I bought this book because I was told over 800k of the Japanese translation of this "Spanish" book had been sold. I believe it will be a worldwide bestseller in the forseeable future. If you dont wanna miss something great, get one and read it ASAP!
