All of us go through life, at one time or another, faced with useless worries and anxieties. We take pills to calm us down;pills to give us a high; pills to simply get us going. Sometimes we turn to alcohol to give us courage to help us meet our daily fears. Heartsick and weary we go through our everyday life wearing a mask of confidence and hiding our bitter disappointments, our paralyzing fears, our regrets and feelings of inadequacy. And as night follows day, self pity comes into our lives, followed by depression and utter helplessness. Is the answer to be found in the bottle of alcohol or in the pills that are prescribed by well-meaning doctors? NO! The answer lies in this book. This book carries more than it's weight in gold for no amount of money can give you the peace, joy, calmness! and serenity that it gives.

This is one of the best devotionals I've ever read. I had one given to me that I used for about a year then I passed it to someone else. I missed it so much I had to get one to keep!
