I really like this book! I've been reading it to my now 1-year-old daughter since she was a newborn and she used to just look at it, so I wasn't sure if she really liked it or not. But later she started taking the initiative to reach out and touch the different kinds of fur herself and it has become one of her favorite books! She will grab it on her own and get down on the floor and flip through the pages by herself. She especially likes the felt "comforter" at the end and pretends to tuck the little girl in. My daughter is picky and doesn't generally like to actually sit and play with toys because she's such a busy-body and likes to walk around all day and get into stuff, but this book really grabs her attention and she will sit with it for a while. Great book for a great price!

Wow ! This is the best book ! My 3 yo daughter absolutely loves it and can recite it word for word ! The rhyming helps to remember :-) It has been read so much it is falling apart. She loves being able to touch and feel the animals. You will not be disappointed in this book. I am getting more of them as we read every night and need something else :-)

My 1-year old son received this book as a Christmas present and it has quickly become one of his favorite bedtime stories. The illustrations are colorful and simple, and he loves to touch the different animals. In fact, he lays his head down on the book and rubs his cheek on the soft kitten and puppy. The touch-and-feel patches are quite large, a rarity in the children's books that I've seen thus far.

My primary quibble with the book is the text. The rhymes are rather poor, and on at least one page, the grammar is awkward, if not altogether incorrect ("Good morning, little puppy! Today the bright sun shone, and you have found a bone.") The pages are also starting to separate at the binding after less than three months of reasonably careful use.

Despite these scruples, the book is charming and is a wonderful part of our bedtime routine.

My child likes it because not only is it rhymy, but he can touch it too. He has loved this one and another similar one "Are You Ticklish?" since he was at least 6 months. Now at 2, still loves them.

I bought Good Night because I wanted my grandaughter to own a "touch" book; however, all the touching parts are the SAME texture (albeit different colors). What a lack of imagination! How about a little piece of wood or a mirror and how about velvet and sandpaper...this book is not worth a penny!

I got this because I thought it was just a new edition of "Good Morning, Good Night" (same cover and author). However, it is only half of the original book, and the lift-a-flap pages are missing. I am sorely disappointed. The original is MUCH better, spend the extra few dollars.

I should have read all of the reviews before purchasing... the lady who gave this book one star was correct- all the textures in the book are exactly the same! There are much better touch and feel books out there- don't waste your time or money with this one.

My 17 month old daughter loves this book. She loves the story and the animals because she is able to identify them all and she knows exactly where to open the flap and feel the animal. NO REGRETS!!
