I have read many children's books to my children over the last 20 years. I always try to find books that are easy reading and pictures which draw a little one's attention to the book. This book is just great! It reminds me of my own grandpa when I was a little girl. The author did a great job and I hope there will be more books by her in the near future!

This is a wonderfully crafted, charming, joyful children's book. I love the way it portrays the stresses in a child's every day life with such charm and innocence, especially when grandpa fixes them. A perfect gift to give to a grandpa, or for a grandpa to give to his little granddaughter. BIG THUMBS UP on this one!!!

This is a great book! It's wonderful for kids to see it's okay to be grumpy sometimes. I love the illustrations! Great colors and the Katie doll is adorable, watch how her clothes always match the little girl! Kudos to the author/illustrator!!

Sweet, simple, and cheerful, this book is a perfect bedtime story as well as a first choice for an emerging reader.

My kids (3 and 5) love this book about Grandpa. It is a sweet and inspiring book about a subject that is hard to find stories about. I bought this book for my children and for their Grandpa (Pop-Pop). My children smile and love the part about broccoli everytime. This was an excellent addition to our children's personal library!!!

What a wonderful gift for the young ones in your life. The book is easy to read with a good message. This shows a positive way to help children cope with the stresses of being a child. The pictures are fun to look at with lots of child-like detail.

What a joyful read! I think the author really captured a child's view on the day to day "stuff." I plan to give this book as a gift to all of my girlfriends and their children! Write more!!!!

This is an awesome book!!! Children have stress too, and Grandpa helps Katie cope with her stressors! What a wonderful role model Grandpa is for parents and caretakers and what a wonderful example he is for his precious little girl, Katie. Hey, I love the Katie Doll that keeps popping up in every picture!!! Can I buy her?

Good Morning Sunshine is a very sweet story about a little girl and her grandfather. Sometimes it is tough to be a little person, but this grandpa knows just how to make his granddaughter smile! The illustrations are bold and bright, perfect for little people. A great gift for a grandpa or from one! I highly recommend it!

The illustrations in this book are remarkable. They can tell a story on their own. But read the book, too, because you don't want to miss any of the heartwarming thoughts and treasures skillfully built into the storyline. The illustrations can help facilitate your child's learning to read because the images portrayed by the pictures mirror the words so well. There is an art to writing and illustrating a cohesive children's book and the author/illustrator, Sharon McKenna, has done this. I look forward to enjoying her next book!
