I've had the honor of getting to know Dudley Gould in person (even catching a glimpse of one of his manuscripts), and I must say that this man has led a most interesting, twisting, and at times tragic, life. Which leads to this book. A smart man caught in the throes of combat, attempting to attach reason, hoping to get back to his true love, makes for conflicted and fascinating reading.
