When my sister told me of this series, I had to buy a bunch of them!!! They make great gifts, and growing up outside of Philadelphia it's fun for adults to look through too. I also sent one to my best friend in Seattle so her boys will learn about Mommy and Daddy's "hometown" and will know all the great places to visit when they get a little older and travel back east!

This is a great series! I am from Philadelphia and have sent this book to several friends before they visit us with their children. It got the kids excited about coming to Philadelphia which made entertaining them a lot easier. I also have Good Night Maine and Good Night New York for my son when we visit those places. Highly recommend!

It's okay but not that stimulating or interesting. The illustrations could be better & the quality could be better overall.

Not thrilled with this book. I noticed that other cities have a better flow to the read than this did.

We live outside of Philadelphia and I bought this board book for my little Granddaughter. The contents of the book depicts the City of brotherly Love well., using illustrations to point out important landmarks that make up this fabulous city. We have several of these "Good Night" books as we travel alot through the US and when we visit an area we pick up the books to show the kids where we have been and what we saw.

I bought this book for my niece at the Penn bookstore to commemorate my return to Philadelphia. I thought it was great (like a fun little tour through the city) but was even more impressed when my brother told me it is the only book he likes reading to my niece. That's a great endorsement! I got her the San Diego book for Christmas and am awaiting the NJ one. I love them!

Good gift for kids moving to or from Philadelphia. Highlights quite a few historic sites. Appropriate for pre-school kids a little older than Good Night Moon fans, which have seen or anticipate seeing, the sites in person. Definitely need a Philly connection to appreciate it.

i gave this book as part of a shower gift…it covers many of the local sites in philadelphia and i think is a fine tribute to the original book, but gives children (and parents) destinations to visit, which the child will already be familiar with from reading this book.
