Book Description

2 and upGood Night Our World series
Many of North America’s most beloved regions are artfully celebrated in these boardbooks designed to soothe children before bedtime while instilling an early appreciation for the continent’s natural and cultural wonders. Each book stars a multicultural group of people visiting the featured area’s attractions—such as the Rocky Mountains in Denver, the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, Lake Ontario in Toronto, and volcanoes in Hawaii. Rhythmic language guides children through the passage of both a single day and the four seasons while saluting the iconic aspects of each place.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Books!, December 18, 2007
By
This review is from: Good Night Philadelphia (Good Night Our World series) (Board book)
When my sister told me of this series, I had to buy a bunch of them!!! They make great gifts, and growing up outside of Philadelphia it's fun for adults to look through too. I also sent one to my best friend in Seattle so her boys will learn about Mommy and Daddy's "hometown" and will know all the great places to visit when they get a little older and travel back east!

This is a great series! I am from Philadelphia and have sent this book to several friends before they visit us with their children. It got the kids excited about coming to Philadelphia which made entertaining them a lot easier. I also have Good Night Maine and Good Night New York for my son when we visit those places. Highly recommend!

Good gift for kids moving to or from Philadelphia. Highlights quite a few historic sites. Appropriate for pre-school kids a little older than Good Night Moon fans, which have seen or anticipate seeing, the sites in person. Definitely need a Philly connection to appreciate it.
