I am Addicted! This is Another Great Album by a great band. I am constantly Listening to it and it has become a part of my most played albums on iTunes. I really can't wait to see them Live, they give such a great energy. I couldn't say I have a Favorite song off of this album but you'll understand once you buy it. :)

Good Old War comes out with another great album. The self titled album showcases their growth and skill as musicians together. it incorporates more complex rhythms and riffs while adding in the accordion to drummer Tim Arnold's line up of instruments (which already includes the keys and vocals). their vocal melodies are still perfectly in tune and actually take it beyond their Simon-and-Garfunkel-esque harmonies. Songs like "My Own Sinking Ship" and "I Should Go" retain the same, catchy style that they brought out in their first album. The album also shows off drummer Tim Arnold's (arguably my favorite drummer of all time) not only drum skills, but skills as a versatile musician and vocalist. He brings back some of the showing off with rhythms and subtleties that he drew me in with as a kid in Days Away.
But where it falls is in some of their new style, some songs such as "Sneaky Louise" are a bit too folksy and cute sounding for me, at least, to take completely seriously. It just reminds me of my ex-hippy 40-year-old, male nanny when i was growing up. But it redeems itself in its new songs like "That's Some Dream," "My Name's Sorrow," and "Get Some" bring forth a new style, which clearly draws from their previous work, but adds in some of that classic folk sound, with some slightly darker vocal melodies and instrumental compositions which really bring back a new style that keeps them at the front of my favorite musicians list.

We saw Good Old War at the Cleveland House of Blues when we saw Xavier Rudd. I bought both of their CD's and absolutely love them!
