Editorial Reviews

Jon Gindick, creator of “Blues & Country Harmonica Jam Camp”

Sugar Mama UK and Richard Hunter achieve amazing improvisational intricacies. This album is "traditional" and anything but old-fashioned.

Product Description

Live jammin' acoustic blues, British style. Recorded live in the studio in May 2004, the album has terrific jamming between guitar and harmonica that'll satisfy any blues fan. Highlights include the moody, Mayall-esque "Woman", the intense, Sonny Terry-meets-the-21st-Century improvisation "Sun Clusters", JJ Cale's driving "Call Me The Breeze," and the cool, swinging Lonny Johnson classic "All You Good People."

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic - roots / country blues, April 5, 2008

This review is from: All You Good People (Audio CD)
If you are a lover of old blues, new blues, country blues or just damn fine music you need this recording in your collection - Sugar Mama UK are Dave Carson on lead guitar/vocals and Kyoko Monk on rhythm guitar along with Richard Hunter - virtuoso harmonica. This recording was created "in one go" - no overdubs, no special electronics, just class playing, a real sign of talent
