Through the ages spiritual teachers, healers and shamans of all traditions have been telling us that there is another world behind this one. One of powerful, loving energies, and beings of light. Their voices speak to us, and it we are prepared to listen, they will change our lives, and our planet's future. The Good Remembering is an inspired rendering of the collective wisdom of these voices, drawing on native wisdom from around the world.
Llyn Roberts, M.A.
Director of Dream Change
Author of Books on Transformation.
Llyn Roberts is a prominent teacher of healing and shamanism. Her work incorporates a background in psychotherapy and cross-cultural studies, Tibetan Buddhism, training with diverse indigenous groups, and Western body-mind transformational approaches. She teaches shamanic methods that can be applied to everyday life in order to turn crisis and fear into opportunities, and to focus energy in order to heal ourselves and the relationship between humans and the living world. Much of her work focuses on global environmentalism, deep feminine wisdom, and an expanded paradigm of well being that is essential to our own and the planet's health as we move together through increasingly complex times.
Llyn holds a master's degree in Buddhist and Western Psychology. An initiate of shamanic circles in Latin America and Siberia, she has led sacred journeys to indigenous people living in remote regions of the Amazon basin, the Asian steppes, high Andes, and the lands of the ancient Maya. She teaches at highly regarded educational institutions in the U.S. including Omega, Esalen, Hollyhock, Breitenbush, Mount Madonna and Rowe Center. She and her long time friend and co-facilitator of fifteen years, John Perkins, lead annual trips to Maya Elders and sacred sites through The Prophet's Conference.
Llyn is a consultant to the University of Massachusetts/Dartmouth Sustainability Initiative and to Earth Train, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of indigenous cultures and rain forests in Panama. She served as adjunct faculty for Union Graduate School and directs Dream Change, a non-profit organization that is dedicated to applying indigenous wisdom in ways that foster social and environmental balance and the transformation of human consciousness. Her books include The Good Remembering and Shamanic Reiki (with Robert Levy). Her latest book, Shapeshifting into Higher Consciousness, integrates spirituality and shamanism with environmentalism and deep feminine approaches to personal and global healing.
A modern day mystic and spiritual ecologist, Llyn's work empowers a deep sense of belonging with the natural world. To learn more visit dreamchange.org
