5.0 out of 5 stars The best out there
I've researched the subject of safe flea prevention relentlessly. I have an old dog with kidney and liver issues so chemicals are out of the question. The majority of herbal collars contain pennyroyal and rue which have been proven to be toxic (they can harm the liver and kidneys) so I had almost given up hope of finding something safe to use on my dog until I found Good...

1.0 out of 5 stars Not great
Sadly, this item looks pretty and smells nice (a bit faint for its purpose), but it shortly turns into a pinched, saggy mess. The fabric is too soft to hold any shape and the lavender inside balls up in one end, with the other end pinched and empty. It still has some odor so if you don't care what it looks like on your dog, it might (might) work. BUT, here's the...

I've researched the subject of safe flea prevention relentlessly. I have an old dog with kidney and liver issues so chemicals are out of the question. The majority of herbal collars contain pennyroyal and rue which have been proven to be toxic (they can harm the liver and kidneys) so I had almost given up hope of finding something safe to use on my dog until I found Good Riddance. This company genuinely cares about pets, none of their products contain harmful ingredients.

The collar is very soft, smells divine and doesn't irritate my VERY sensitive dog at all. I was concerned she'd hate the smell but she's fine with it. Please bear in mind that if you want to go natural you'll have to use more than one product, but the peace of mind you'll get from being chemical free is well worth it. I use this collar, Food Grade DE earth around the house, flea traps, a motion detector water sprinkler to deter stray cats from my garden and Good Riddance flea powder on the dog.

Please don't use spot on treatments and harmful substances on your pet, they're carcinogenic and very dangerous, yes they work very well but it's a case of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

It still has some odor so if you don't care what it looks like on your dog, it might (might) work. BUT, here's the cruncher, there is VERY LITTLE LAVENDER in it! If it were packed with lavender it would have kept its shape, smelled stronger, and my dog would still be wearing it!

Did not have much luck with the lavender collar, she scratched it off, there was not much of a collar left after she scratched it off.
