5.0 out of 5 stars Master P - The Last Don
Master P has finally changed his ways. In a good way, too.
Just about every CD that he has released since Ghetto D (1997) has been one-hit failures. (if you ask me, these are it: MP Da Last Don: Not even sure..; Only God Can Judge Me 1999: Ghetto Prayer; Ghetto Postage 2000: Bout Dat; Game Face 2001: Oohwee)
This is definitely a work of art. Although if they...

1.0 out of 5 stars Painful to listen to
I started bumpin P when he came out with Ice Cream Man, and he was my favorite rapper for quite some time. Everything before "Da Last Don" is classic material, but isht hit the fan when Percy tried to imitate John Gotti. Beats By the Pound, evidently sensed the wackness and smashed out. Instead of sticking with his "last" album, P treaded even further up ishts creek by...

This is definitely a work of art. Although if they would've removed one or two songs (from an album that has plenty of filler) and put it on one disc, it would even better.
Some of the better songs:
---Disc 1
- Act A Fool
- Who Wants Some
- Why They Wanna Wish Death
- It's A Drought
- Them Jeans
---Disc 2
- Ghetto Honey
- That Ain't Nothing
- Tell 'Em
- 20 On Cars 26 On Trucks
- Represent

This album is worth the buy for any rap fan.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE UNBELIEVABLE RETURN OF DA DON, March 24, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Good Side: Bad Side (Audio CD)
this album is pure hotness! Southern Rap at its finest by the man that many felt was dead in the rap game because he went "soft" (...).

but he's back with a banger. GOOD SIDE BAD SIDE features Lil Jon, Silkk the Shocker, Curren$y (hot new talent, sounds like Lil Flip), Romeo (now withouth the "Lil"), Liberty (female rapper), Afficial (very tight group from Philadelphia), Theresa Esclovon (female singer) and C-Murder (a legend himself, currently locked up)

P is lyrically better than ever, the guest spots are well placed (except for Liberty), and the beats are FIRE (courtesy of producer Myke Diesel)

all tracks are great except for "We Like Dem Girls" and "Ghetto Model".

songs you HAVE TO listen to:
Thug & Get Paper (raw s**t)
Act A Fool (club banger w/ Lil Jon)
Ride For U (one of the best songs on the album)
Represent (hyped up track, sounds a little like Three 6 Mafia, DOPENESS!)
That Ain't Nuthin' (fun track)
Who Want Some (grimey song, excellent once again)
Anything Goes (awesome delivery by MP, great solo track)

what can I say, I HIGHLY recommend buying this album!

5.0 out of 5 stars Who Want Some!!!? P is Still Bout it, April 28, 2004
By
This review is from: Good Side: Bad Side (Audio CD)
OMFG, when I heard P dropped a new CD I knew I had to get it, especially since its been 3yrs since his last one, But When I went to the store I was kinda disappointed that the CD was $25(Canadian)(with DVD) but i got it anyways and I'm glad I did. These songs pound the F*cK outta my subs and there are so many good songs: "We All We Got""Who Want Some""why they wanna wish Death""Them Jeans"20's on Cars 26 on Trucks"...
The DVD aint the greatest but the soundtrack Is cuz Every song on it is from the CD. The end of the dvd with Why they wanna wish death music video is my fav part.
If you have any intrest in Master P WHATSOEVER buy this CD you wont be dissapointed!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Don is back yo..., April 8, 2004

HAHAHA, yo he came back STRONG!!!!!!!!!
I thought it was funny when I heard he was making another damn cd. How can one man be a mastermind of rap, lose everybody in his clik, fall off the map, be on a kid's show on Nickelodeon, then make another damn cd??? Then I heard Act a Fool and was like whoa... So, I bought it to see what the deal was. Well, he shut me the fkkk up yo. Don't judge a book by it's cover, when he say NEW No Limit, he mean it. No more LAME tracks produced by Beats by the Pound, no more 5 people on every song, and he talks about different stuff instead of just Hoody Hoo this and Hoody Hoo that. Rank this one up there with Da Last Don and Ghetto Dope.

5.0 out of 5 stars Southern Hip Hop at the very BEST, April 7, 2004
By
This review is from: Good Side: Bad Side (Audio CD)
Ok, 96 was around the start for the southern hip hop sceen as i see it. And did it ever take off,Master p started it and looks like he is going to finish what he started. Master p starts off Dope and ends dope from the start to finish with and excepition of 3 or 4 tracks. Its and album that you need both disc in the cd changer to let it ride for the summer and even longer. This is southern rap at its best some my debate,UNTIL they here master p tear the club u!!!!!!I mean i havent heard an album this solid in a very long time. And damn its so nice to hear. And this is an album females will love also so guys girls pick it up you will not be disappointed. This stacks up well against his old classics ghetto dope and the last don and so on. Ughhhhh master p is back to tear the club up he still runs the block!!!!!!!!!!!
