John Brannen has done his share of rockin' and rollin' and country. I'm not quite sure where he fits in this CD, but if I must say, I would lean toward country. Brannen came on the scene in mid 90s, and I found him to be unique in his voice, that Southern twang, his writing style, and mostly his musical style.ONE important note on this CD!! There is a glitch and the last song listed on the tracks is NOT the last song. You need to wait about a minute because of dead space, and wow, he does a fantastic rendition of the popular classic "Amazing Grace". There are some gems here, and I love the beautiful "Learning To Dance", a nice slow senuous ballad with a nice sound of the, what I believe, is the lead guitar. This is really good! Another great one is "I Could Never Make It Right". Brannen writes or cowrites most of the lyrics. .... MzRizz I highly recommend an excellent country, southern rock CD of John Brannen's, his first: John Brannen |
