Fab British retro rock,

This review is from: Good Things (Audio CD)
The first solo album by England's garage rock femme-fatale, Holly Golightly (late of Thee Headcoatees). Lots of slinky reverb and snarly vox... Moodier, bummier lyrics than her efforts with Thee Gals, but still with a buoyant, playful vibe. I think my favorite track on here my actually be "Head Start," a daft little nothing of a toss-off, where the musicians lose their train of thought and crack themselves up. Overall, a great record, with an appropriately garagey, lo-fi feel. Highly recommended.
