A must for Broncos fans., December 1, 2007
This review is from: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Denver Broncos: Heart-Pounding, Jaw-Dropping, and Gut-Wrenching Moments from Denver Broncos History (The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly) (Hardcover)
This a fast, fun read. The author, Adrian Dater, does a great job of capturing the madness that is Broncos Nation. I enjoyed the book, and I'm a Cowboys fan!

A fair overview of the history of the Broncos we love., June 22, 2009
This review is from: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Denver Broncos: Heart-Pounding, Jaw-Dropping, and Gut-Wrenching Moments from Denver Broncos History (The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly) (Hardcover)
This book was given to me as a Father's Day gift. Having lived a large part of my life in and around Denver, I could not help but be exposed to the ravenous illness called BRONCOMANIA.
I would love to give this book a five star rating just because I love the subject matter so much. The scattered approach the author took to the book and its topics has the reader jumping all over through the almost 5 decades of team history. He was trying to stay true to the title and in that fashion did so well. But jumping back and forth through time to capture some moments that were GOOD and then listing things from history that qualified as BAD, got a little bit tiring.
Luckily the book is short and your average Joe Schmoe off the street itsn't going to be the reader of this book. The true fan will get this book and be willing to wade through the sometimes not so flattering look at our team.
This would be a great summer beach book or an airplane book. It doesn't suffer if you have to put it away for a while and get back to it later. You can easily pick up where you left off.
The only pictures shown are in black and white. For older pictures I can understand that but when you have Elway or Davis on the page, color would have helped a lot!
This book entertains the Bronco faithful with information that most already know but there may be a couple of lesser known facts that may surprise even the most faithful fan. I know I was.
