"Fran Tarkenton was one of the best leaders I've ever played with in my lifetime. He was a magician." --Ron Johnson
"It's going to stay with me for a while. Obviously, I'm in a low state. This is the biggest game of my career and I didn't play well at all." --Kerry Collins, after Super Bowl XXXV
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: New York Giants leaves no stone unturned in chronicling the highs and lows of the G-Men. Go inside the boisterous locker room of the 1987 and 1991 Super Bowl champions, then ask, "what might have been?" with the somber losers of Super Bowl XXXV. Follow Lawrence Taylor as he develops into one of the greatest defensive players of all time, then spirals downward in a haze of illegal drugs. Get the inside story behind the Sneakers Game, Jeff Hostetler's Super Bowl run, L.T.'s career-ending hit on Joe Theismann, Tiki Barber's retirement, and everything in between.
In an entertaining and unsparing fashion, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: New York Giants recounts the best and worst Giants teams and players of all time, the clutch performances and biggest choke jobs, and all the fights, rivalries, and off-the-field antics that happened along the way. If you're a through-thick-and-thin Giants fan, The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: New York Giants is your ultimate guide to the ugly truth!

Best Giants Book Ever,

This review is from: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly New York Giants: Heart-pounding, Jaw-dropping, and Gut-wrenching Moments from New York Giants History (The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly) (Hardcover)
This is a funny warts-and-all history of the Giants from the old days of the Polo Grounds right up to the struggles of Eli. The chapter about Lawrence Taylor and Joe Theissmann alone makes the book worth the cover price. Great for fans of Big Blue and the NFL alike. Highly recommended.

The Bad and the Ugly,
This review is from: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly New York Giants: Heart-pounding, Jaw-dropping, and Gut-wrenching Moments from New York Giants History (The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly) (Hardcover)
The writing ability of the author is high school level. The book also looks like it was printed on a mimeograph if anyone remembers them. Low quality - don't buy.
