This review is from: Good Wyoming Stock: The Legacy of Joe and Arlene Watt (Paperback)
"Good Wyoming Stock is a saga of families coming West, of homesteaders and farmers and ranchers. It includes stories that have been passsed on from family to family and those told by the main characters of the book. These stories are about men like Diamond L. Slim, Range Detective Joe LaFors, the Hole-in-the-Wall-Gang, John B. Kendrick, and Pinnacle Jake Snyder, and events such as the Johnson County Invasion and the last wolf roundup....

This book tells of growing up on the plains of Wyoming. It describes the schools, the children's games, the all-night dancing parties, the sweat and heartache....

The central story is about a couple of people who started with five cows and a homestead and built a major ranch and cattle business, while making their lives and the lives of many people in their beloved state of Wyoming into something worthwhile...."
