Unlike most Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, this one devotes about half of its content to wonderful stories from readers and Gooseberry Patch friends that remind us that we are "all in this together," and can work out difficult times in our lives and find strength to carry on. I enjoyed this part of the book very much and I know that I will return to it again and again for inspiration. The second half of the book has some nice recipes using fresh fruits and vegetables that will help construct healthy meals to keep body, mind and soul in tune and functioning well. You will enjoy this different kind of Gooseberry Patch volume!

While I used to enjoy Gooseberry Patch for all it's information and tidbits, it's starting to read repetitive.
They have cute ideas, but if you read most of their books, it appears that some of it is re-hashed to fill up another book.
