You need to have this book!,

I first heard about this book when I received it as a gift in college over 10 years ago. I still have it and still refer to it now and then for its wonderful and simple gems of wisdom. It's a great little book to have for yourself and would make a great pick-me-up for a friend going through a hard time. Its message is simply to listen to your heart and take care of your needs. The little elf illustrations are very poignant and marry well with the text as an encouragement for your soul. I would recommend this and any of the Elf Help books to anyone!

Thoughtful, heartfelt and simple reminders about life. Deceptively simple; provocatively profound and personal for each reader. Afterall, isn't that what good therapy is - personal and profound? But, this is better because it's affordable!

Thus far, I have purchased four of the books in this "elf self help" book series. They have all been packed with very smart, thoughtful, practical advice, and arranged in a very simple 'one tip per page' format. I have not been let down by any of the four books (including Be-good-to yourself Therapy). My thought when reading these books, is that the author/s genuinely, and prayerfully wanted to help people going through life challenges (not just out to make a cutesy book filled with common sense advice). Also, the little elf drawings are so sweet...this is a little bonus that makes you smile :) They are 'little' books, btw. Approx. 4"x6". Nothing but good things to say about this little book series.
