Big fan of the Goodfather,

Got this CD as a gift just after our first daughter was born. What a kick. I watch the intro (can't skip it) every time. The lessons are terrific and I now wish I had received this gift prior to her birth. Lots of fun and very informative. Sure beats reading the boring newborn books.

The CD-ROM is sold as Win/Mac friendly. This however means "old classic mac" friendly. Will not run on OSX. I have sent an email to the company to inquire about a "patch". If they have one and it works, I will update this review. Until then, I am very bummed about the poorly updated system requirements info.
UPDATE: I have emailed the company... VERY NICE people. They have offered me a OSX friendly version in exchange for my copy. I should be getting it soon. We will see if it runs... UPDATE: It works! They were very fast at getting me a replacement updated cd-rom. They even gave us a free shirt for our troubles! Quality customer service and company! 4.5 stars!!!!!

I gave this as a gift to a daddy to be and it did not meet expectations. The concept is cute but the novelty of it is not worth the money. You might as well be reading a book. Save yourself the money and just go on you tube or google how to videos on baby care and you'll be set.
