When gorgeous Juanita Morales arrived in
Monkton City she was looking for bright lights
and excitement. Instead she had disappeared.
The letters to her Mexican home had simply stopped.
When the ancient Mexican descended on
private eye Mark Preston's office, he was
tempted to turn him away. But when he
learned that the man had walked all the way
from his village with $100 in order to persuade
Preston to find his missing daughter, Juanita,
Preston hadn 't the heart to refuse him.
It was not one of his better decisions. As the
trail to Juanita led to a succession of corpses
ice-picks in their backs, it looked as
though she'd got herself involved in some very
murky business indeed...
