I like Sally's older stuff better (see my review of the song "Mary" which to me is lyrically the greatest song ever written, yes I said it). However, although some of these songs are more poppy, the fact is that lyrically this girl is the most underappreciated artist on the planet. Listen to "Today Is Not Tomorrow" or "I Could Be Great", think Pink or Kelly Clarkson could come up with something like that? Think any artist would have the guts to put out a video like "So Long" right before the election. My biggest complaint with Ms. Anthony is that she takes too long between albums and songs it leaves us waiting and wanting more.

the problem with most pop albums is the beats are good, but the lyrics suck. At first glance, this seems like a typical pop album, but then I took the time to read the lyrics and it was like a pipe smacked me across the face. This girl's lyrics are genius. Take the time to listen to Today Is Not Tomorrow or So Long (watch the video) or I Could Be Great. I think more people aren't raving about this girl because they don't know what type of box to fit her into. She's like a lyrical Ani DiFranco set to Kelly Clarkson or Pink beats. She's like a genius Pink. This album gets 5 BIG stars and everyone should get it!

what a great cd, highly recommend to anyone. i heard the single on my radio station in WV and had to get the album, there are 7 or 8 fantastic songs on this album.

this album was exactly what I needed at the right time in my life. Songs like Today is not Tomorrow and Villain, really allowed me to put some things I had going on in perspective and move on. Thank you Sally Anthony for the gift of this great music.

heard the single on my fav radio station in West Virginia and had to get this album, 7-8 great songs on it, must buy!

this is an amazing album from start to finish, if you are a fan of female pop/rock, you HAVE to get this album!
