excellent and smart rock and roll,

Quirky lyrics made powerful by Kinney's strong, smooth voice have made Cake Like into the ultimate women band. All three of these women are awesome musicians and together they explode on stage. I saw them last night at their home town venue of Brownies where the entire audience was overwhelmed by their energy and musical abilities.

about half of the songs on this album are really good... we're talking GREAT songs... the kind that get overplayed on the radio until everyone hates them. but the other half... well... they're not as great. but no song on this cd is really BAD, so you can see how much i really liked the good songs if i gave 4 stars.
