Yet another great single from The Spice Girls.They had a string of hits from 1997 to 2000.Its amazing how many hits they had in such a short period of time.This is another i often listen to.They weren't around for very long,but they did produce some classic songs.

The first single without Geri Halliwell, and the third consecutive Spice Girls #1 Christmas single, "Goodbye" was a definite hit. Released in many more countries than just a usual single, "Goodbye" seemed determined to spread. Being the first single without Geri, it had a very different sound to it. Let's take a synopsis, shall we?

1) GOODBYE (RADIO EDIT)- This powerful, sweet sounding ballad dedicated to Geri Halliwell takes you by surprise. Just when you thought that the Spice Girls could not go on without Ginger, this song will prove it to you. The girls' vocals have surpassed their usual sound by FAR. Awesome song.

2) CHRISTMAS WRAPPING- This song is a cover, originally performed by The Waitresses in 1981. The Spice Girls completely modernized the beat of the song and changed a couple of words in the lyrics here and there. Definitely put this song on your Christmas Eve playlist.

3) GOODBYE (ORCHESTRAL VERSION)- This orchestral song strips the song of its awesome acoustics, but brings out the beautiful vocals of the Spice Girls even more. This song is awesome to listen to if you are amazed by the vocals in the radio edit. If not, stick to the radio edit.

Definitely put this single into consideration if you're a fan of Christmas number 1's and a fan of the Spice Girls.

The Spice Girls are the best, and they will always be at the top of my list. Their wacky, groovy tracks 'Love Thing, Do It, and Stop' To their #1 hits 'Wannabe, Say You'll be There, and Spice Up Your Life.' Along with more serious songs 'Goodbye, Viva Forever, and Too Much,' these music divas have made the finish line to success! The song Goodbye is their best yet- not to mention the latest Spice Girls track they have done a few months ago, before they started doing more solo stuff.. its a great way to start the new 3rd album! I love you spice girls, and may all your dreams come true!! ~ Sam

The first single without Geri Halliwell is a nice ballad like for instance "Mama" or "2 become 1". It could be dedicated to Geri.
The second song is as the title says a Christmas song. It's a typical old Spice Girls song wich is fun listening to and doesn't have deep lyrics. But I like it. Maybe it's their last real pop - song.
The orchestral version of Goodbye is also very nice.

buy the single, its a great ballad. #1 all around the world. well worth the money. one of the most beautiful songs of all.

I LOVE this single! When I heared this single I couldn't wait until the single cd comes out! I also really like this single because it's about Geri leaving,and it's also saying that they are leaving their music time.But now they are back!

The Spice Girls first came out in 1996 with Wannabe - ever since then they have been the best pop act around - You can keep your steps and All Saints - to name a few. The Spice Girls song Goodbye is one of their very best, a close second to Viva Forever, this song has a proffessional ring to it. It made them Christmas number 1 in 1998 and it was well done. Even though the spice girls have been out of the limelight as a group for some time - I am eagerly awaiting the 3rd album. I thi8nk it will be good, if not better, than Spice or Spiceworld. I wish the band every success and look forward to hearing their music again soon.

goodbye is such a good song iloved it. it was catchy had great lyrics and everything.the only song i didnt like was christmas

cool i think this is the last single the spice girls made before

I really like the song becuase it was about Geri's leaving the Spice Girls and it has a great beat and a wonderful message that only true fans know! I was really suprised when i heard this CD because of Geri not being in it but it turned out great just like all of the other Spice Girls albums/singles will be!

The Spice Girls stink. They can't sing, dance or act and they are just a put togther bunch of wannabes. Let's hope Nasty Spice, Rancid Spice, Rotten Spice, Stinky Spice and Stupid Spice say goodbye forever!
