What can I say other than it's an awesome track? It's been played over some memorable scenes, namely Buffalo Bill's creepfest dance in "The Silence of the Lambs" and Jay's imitation of that same dance in "Clerks 2". The song is also featured in Grand Theft Auto 4.

I dance to this song while cross dressing and listening to girls yell for help a the bottom of the well I have in my basement.

Unfortunately it sounds like it was ripped from an old record (and at a low bitrate at that), but what can you do. Great song.

This is a great song from the movie "Silence of the Lambs." Because of another Amazon reviewer for the SOTL soundtrack The Silence Of The Lambs: The Original Motion Picture Score, I was able to easily find this MP3 here. This song is NOT included on the SOTL soundtrack. Until today, I always thought the singer was a male. However, it's actually a female with a deep voice.

I am giving this MP3 4/5 stars because it's a variable bit rate. When you first download any MP3 you pay for, you should put your headphones on and listen to it for defects, which is what I am doing while writing this review. I can really hear the sound distortion when the MP3 drops to 160 Kbit, especially in the voice. That's a shame, because Amazon is the only place I can find this version of the song.

Why is Amazon using variable bit rates anyway? How much bandwidth can they save? Hardly anything I think. If I could find a used CD for $5 with this original version I'd buy it and rip it at 320 Kbits. BTW, the Clerks II soundtrack has this song, but it's 6:27, not 4:19 like this one.

These are the specs for this particular song:
Title: Goodbye Horses (featuring Q Lazzarus)
Length: 4:19
Average variable bit rate: 205 Kbits
Lowest bit rate: 160 Kbit
Highest bit rate: 320 Kbit

Amazon, on this MP3's product page, claims it's "MP3, 256 kbps". This is incorrect. Amazon, please stop using variable bit rate and use only either full 256 or 320 kbps.

Anyway, I'm glad I finally have this song to add to my collection. It's pretty cool. Now if don't mind, I'm gonna remove my headphones, crank up my PC's excellent Altec Lansing 621, with a second 621 subwoofer added, and play it. Later.

this was played during silence of the lambs when buffalo bill was putting on makeup - I've always wanted to hear it from start to finish and it's a very pretty song

This is a tune I always wanted since I saw the movie; can't get it on Emusic, so I tried Amazon and they had it,.,.
