A beautiful song about thinking about death,

If Patty Griffin had written and sung only this song she would have left us one classic, five-star, high-lonesome lament, with a perfect arrangement, lovely instrumentation, and a wordless vocal coda like a sad angel's flight. Plus it's one of Christina Hendricks's favortie songs (she plays Joan Holloway on Mad Men) so I love it even more.
