This lunchbox fits the bill perfectly.

The lids snap shut really nicely, but they are a little difficult for my kids to snap shut, but I have no worries about that as the lid still remains closed.

I cannot recommend this product due to it's false advertisement.

I got this lunchbox for the kids but my husband is actually using it for his lunches now. He doesn't use the water bottle, so the three compartments are perfect to fit for example a lunch dish, a side salad and a snack. The lid however is unfortunately not spill proof like I would have expected for the price. This makes it still great for sandwiches but not for leftovers like pasta with sauce. Otherwise this would have been a five star product.

Opened this up and found out the lid would not close and seal. May be just a bad batch but sent it back. Once again, Amazon was more than helpful on the return.

I have been using this box for about 3 weeks now for my first grader and I love it! It is PLENTY big enough for lunch, more so if you opt not to use their water bottle in the center slot. I had heard the lid on the original Goodbyn was a bit complicated and I also wanted something that would fit in a standard lunch bag so I could keep my sons lunch cold, so I went with the Bynto over the Goodbyn. The lid is very easy for my son to use, though I did have to teach him to press the center sections first, than around the outside edge. It fits great in the Igloo lunch bag I bought, with a separate bottle pocket. The food does not mix and stays perfectly in each section. I plan on getting two more of these for my daughters I love them so much. Its hard to say what all can fit in here, so I will be adding some of my own pictures in the product images section. Great purchase!

I'm giving two stars for its cuteness, but that's really the best thing about it. The lid does not fit well. Actually it won't really even close, so I wouldn't advise putting anything "wet" in it...(fruit, etc). I was looking for something that would hold various snacks for my kids when we go out and since the lid doesn't close it's not suitable for travel.

We love our new lunch boxes - my preschoolers take them to school - They keep all of their items separate, each bin is large - I can send fruit, crackers, a sandwich & a treat, and it holds enough that they usually come home with some leftovers. I originally thought about getting the bigger Goodbyn boxes, but these are plenty big for preschool/young kids.

I got this lunchbox (over the larger Goodbyn) because I was looking for something for my preschooler. Her school requires lunchboxes to sit flat in the fridge and have compartments so that the kids can feed themselves without too much assistance from the teachers. This lunchbox fits the bill perfectly. She can get the lid off (but not back on) by herself. It's just the right size for a fruit, veggie, and protein/grain section. We don't use the water bottle yet-- but even if we did, there would still be room for a preschooler's-sized lunch because the compartments are nice and deep.
We've had no problems, so far, with leaking just as long as I am careful to seal the lid all the way along every ridge.
I'd say that the only drawback is that I expected, for the price, for the plastic to be a little thicker. It's not flimsy, but I was thinking it might be a little more rugged. We'll see how it holds up over time!

Little one is going to kindergarten and needed a box for mid-day snack. I have heardy about Goodbyn for a couple years now and decided to give it a try. The box is really big for just snack, definately enough for lunch and snack if necessary. However, this size allow me to put a jello fruit snack in the original case. So, it's all good. My DD is 5 and did not have any problem open/close the Bynto. The only reason I take away a star is the difficulty in drinking from the little bottle. Yup, it did not leak alright, because it is very tight. After my child manage to pull it open, the flap keep getting in the face which makes it hard to drink. I have now send her in with a little cut down straw. The Bynto is easy to clean.

We also gotten a few more for myself and my husband for breakfast/snack. The cereal goes in the small section, which really is big enough portion for breakfast. Put milk in the bottle and a few fruits/veggies on the big partition and we are ready to go. The bottle is easy to clean as the whole top can be screwed off.

I bought this because in Korean cuisine, the individual side dishes must remain separate to keep the integrity of the food's flavor. The very tight fitting lid always keeps the items in the individual compartments absolutely separate. The water bottle was quite cheap and I was glad it was lost on a school field trip. The lid is not that hard to open and close for me but it MUST be snapped shut in order for the seal to work 100%. It is quite difficult for young children to close and open. I have seen the preschool teacher, assistant, and pre kindergarten teacher struggle to open and close this. Also, I never use a dishwasher so it is quite time consuming to scrub the crevices behind/underneath the compartments. An ordinary sponge will not fit in those cracks underneath. Additionally, like with most plastics, if you us a strong dish detergent, this WILL absorb the smell of the dish soap. We use Method dish detergent but I still don't feel comfortable smelling the soap on this item. Now I just stick to individual 100% glass containers to transport my son's lunch and snacks.

The stickers do fall off after 5 months and I don't even wash it in the dishwasher.
