The twenty-second edition of Goode's World Atlas results from the latest blend of geographic scholarship and GIS technology for map production, and thus is a major reworking of the atlas, not just an update. It offers new maps on topics ranging from global climate change to water resources, and provides an outstanding survey for any library seeking the latest geographic resources.

The book is good.

But when trying to look for some details from the maps, we found the national geography's atlas is more easy to read.

It may be due to the resolution of the print, the color used, etc.

Use this atlas for quick reference. Goode's World Atlas is a classic with all the features you could ever want in an atlas. If you study international anything, this is your most basic guide. From normal political maps to economic proportional maps, this atlas has everything a world citizen should know.

Goode's World Atlas (22nd Edition) has a tremendous amount of up to date information for the price. The information is not too detailed. If I want more detail then I can go to individual maps of a specific area. The Atlas contains all the additional information expected in an atlas like population densities, climates, vegetations etc. It also has ocean floor maps showing basins and ridges. The index extends to 100 pages.
This is a great reference book, and excellent value in my opinion.

This atlas is a must have for university geography majors which I was. It's also super for world travelers which I am.

The book was in good condition, as described by the seller, but I have had difficulty finding coordinates with it. I think the book could be a little more organized as far as sections and regions.

This book is my daughter's textbook when she took Geography in the community college this summer. Though it is a used book, it is clean as a new. My daughter is happy with that.

I used Goode's in college in the late 60's. It was great then and it's still great today.
