No Limit 2000,
By Mike [[\] [[] [[_ [[ [[\/] [[ "[" (Southern Cali) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Goodfellas (Audio CD)
It's been almost 6 and a half months since No Limit released an album. The new 504 Boyz cd was a good way of starting back up. 504 Boyz was originally supposed to be P, Silkk, and Mystikal, but now it is just all the No Limit guys. P has signed a lot more artists recently, and some of the old ones have faded out, like Big Ed, and Steady Mobbin. I have 32 NL albums, so I'm a pretty big fan. The newest members, D.I.G. and Krazy are very good. Krazy is on about half of the 504 Boyz cd, and sounds really similar to Pac. 504 Boyz is filled with good songs. The whole album is worth listening to. The only thing that I didn't like was that they put 5 old tracks on it. This cd is far better than any Cash Money album out. Roll Roll, Big Toys, Whodi, Wobble Wobble, Them Boyz, Thug Girl 2, Souljas, Enemies, are the best songs. This cd should be #1 on the billboards for its first week, hopefully it will knock off that damn NSYNC cd. Just like Eminem says, "I'm sick of you little girl and boy bands, all you do is annoy me". No Limit is who to listen for in the year 2000. No Limit has always been what to listen to, but because of all the air play that Cash Money got, people started hatin on No Limit. No Limit's back up in it. No Limit, runnin it for the 2000. Go pick up 504 Boyz, and you won't be disappointed. Also watch for the new No Limit Gear. [[\] [[] [[_ [[ [[\/] [[ "[". Hoody Hoo.

WHO SAID NOLIMIT DIED OUT,

I'm giving the 504 Boyz 5 stars because there isn't an album out that can even compare I know some of their latest joints haven't been living up to the NO LIMIT standard but now it's over P's came back to the thrown of the DIRTY SOUTH and for that matter the entire rap game with this albulm it's got something for everybody like (WOBBLE WOBBLE) for all the ladies in the clubs and one of the tightest tracks I've heard since (BOUT IT BOUT IT) with (SOULJA'S) featuring SNOOP,AND KRAZIE. and (WHERE YOU AT WHODI) which I think will be the next video for this alblum so basicly you just need to go get this albulm for all you that jumped of the TANK cause now it's back and better than ever. And to all of you that's hatin like Pastor Troy,Cash Money,Miracle you need to show P some respect cause you wouldn't be where your at today if P hadn't open the doors for the South. So if your like me and tired of hearing DMX bark on every albulm like a pup and CASH MONEY talking Bout what they got knowing damn well it's rented then go get the 504 BOYZ and bumping loud has possible ya heard me. Oh yeah get ready for the new releases from SNOOP,SILKK,MYSTIKAL,C-MURDER,and the new LP from MASTER P called GHETTO POSTAGE in stores September 26 and you know it's gonna be hot.

Yo, this joint right here is bangin'. I don't know why all those folk are tryin to hate on P. The man is doing his thang and we need to give him props for that. All this Cash Money vs. No Limit mess is nonsense. They both from the same hood. If they were smart they would do something together. But enough about that. Let's talk about "Goodfellas". We have all seen the coming soons for this album since the beginning of time. I remember when it was just P and Mystikal. Then Silkk was added and the anticipation for this album grew. I was like "when in the world is this album gonna be released". Every No limit album would say "504 Boyz-Coming Soon". Finally, it came out of nowhere as I was watching Rap city one day and I heard "Wobble Wobble" and I knew that this would be the year for No Limit to take over again. The excitment hit a new level cause I knew that it was truly coming soon. Then the album dropped and I was on it like white on rice. I was a little disappointed not hearing too much from Nino Brown, G-money and Vido. They seemed to change the lineup adding just about the whole No Limit click, but I got over that quick. From start to finish I was satisfied with the No limit of the year 2000. You won't be skippin' tracks on this one. Now P is coming with "Ghetto Postage" and the lineup is looking pretty nice for the rest of the year. No Limit is back in this here. Don't sleep on em!

The cd is alright but it could of been better. Whodi, Thug Girl II and Souljas is the best songs. I'm didn't like how they put songs from other albums on there. But whats up wit that cat on the front cover and inside cover booklet on the 4 wheeler. Is that Pac. I think so. How come they won't show his face or tats. Look closly at his eyes and he looks like Pac. *Cleveland City Crooked out no doubt*

a improvement over tru's da crime family, and anything p released in 1999. the last no limit project that featured mystikal, and snoop dogg, krazy sounds like 2pac the 12th, if it was,nt bad enough that c-murder, and the ghetto bill gates impersonations of makaveli were'nt bad enough.not a bad cd though, tru no limit fans will get rowdy off this, also some remakes, like thug girl2, and some others, but not a bad cd like i said-also p disses on the fake soldiers who jumped off the tank we all know who they were regardless of p saying he will never make a song dissing another player in the game.

Whoa! I am true hip hop head...I have been feed up for a while with commercial rappers that making the game look water down. In 97 and 98 when everybody MEAT RODE No Limit I was like No Limit isn't all of that...Know that everybody MEAT RIDING DMX, Jigga, Eminem, and Cash Money I decieded to cuff the 504 Boyz cd. I listen to tracks and I am like whoa! It is a diffrent sound of production than beats from the pound. P made a excellent move. With tracks like Whodia, Souljah, and D-Game shows how talented the No Limit camp is. Mac got flow...it's like a southern east coast thing....Magic is raw, he has a powerful voice...Silk is captivating with his style.....Krazy sound just like Pac.... C Murder need to build his skillz but it isnot bad....I understand his flow but build your vocab.... To be honest 504 Boyz is hot. I love hip hop but 504 Boyz will do cause it is hot. I except the fact that P has but in work! If you like true rap get 504 ya heared me!

Its about time that No Limit came back with some tight stuff. I have always loved no limit, and I am a tank dogg 4life, but the last few albums have been garbage, and they were pushing back release dates, but this cd was worth the wait.

This review is from: Goodfellas (Audio CD)
when i first heard this i was yeah p coming back hard, this cd is better than most cd,s no limit released in 99, this is the last no limit cd that featured mystikal, and snoop dogg, magic gets more room to breathe, krazy debuts on here the similarites between him and pac are obviuos, krazy sounds just like pac but you can tell the difference, the part that got me was the fact that p dissed all the fake soldiers.
