5.0 out of 5 stars Great Product
Last year I spent $20 in a drug store for a hot water bottle. It didn't last one season. So far this one is holding up well. The price was considerably less. Good
luck finding a good hot water bottle in a store; not even Target sells them, so there is very little choice. I have never seen this one in a store; it is a
very good value.

3.0 out of 5 stars It is not what it once was
I bought this because it looks exactly like the one I bought in the past, with Made in USA printed on the tab. This new one felt different and does have a smell to it, even if slight after several weeks of airing out but which increases when filled with hot water. This is made in China, which I often wish to avoid. I went back to where I previously bought made in USA hot...

I bought this because it looks exactly like the one I bought in the past, with Made in USA printed on the tab. This new one felt different and does have a smell to it, even if slight after several weeks of airing out but which increases when filled with hot water. This is made in China, which I often wish to avoid. I went back to where I previously bought made in USA hot water bottles, theirs too are now made in China. Once I put hot water in the China made one, I don't enjoy holding it but would rather put it in a pillow case & wrap it up so as not to inhale the smell or feel the outside which just feels wrong to me. That odd feel is perhaps from the mold it was made in. If you buy this one, my advice is to let it air out for a couple of weeks, then scrub it well before using. It's not like it used to be with a better quality product made in USA, but we'll have to work with what we have. I may try one made in Germany or others made of natural rubber latex or silicone.

2/26/11 Update. This water bottle finally doesn't smell so bad but now it started leaking. I always dry it well, never over-fill or use anything but water from the tap. Do not buy this product, it truly is defective.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointing!, December 7, 2010

The product arrived in a crumpled box - no big deal. However, it is stiff as a board - feels like it is made of some kind of plastic rather than rubber, and when I put hot water in it to test it, within a half hour, the water was cool. I bought this to replace my favorite hot water bottle that I've had for years. It's soft, pliable and so comforting on a cold night. This one wouldn't comfort anyone. I have no idea what kind of hot water bottles people have had who are giving this a great review. I bought it because of their reviews, so want to make sure other people don't make the same mistake. Furthermore, it's made in China. I'm going to scour the net for one made in Italy where my current hot water bottle is from. Save yourself the money and bypass this product unless you are looking for a brick.

This water bottle is the only one that does not have a strong polymer smell. I have given one to each of my three adult children for muscular pain. Fill with cold or hot (TAP only) water - NEVER boiling water. After 40 years of marriage, I still have my original Fautless water bottle; these bottles last forever, so long as you do not lose the stopper.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mini hot water bottle, February 9, 2009
This review is from: Goodhealth Fautless Premium Water Bottle, 2 Quart Capacity - 1 ea (Health and Beauty)
This works fine, but it's a bit small if you're looking for a regular sized one to cover a big achy belly, but perfect for a little tummy comforter.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally A Great Hot Water Bottle, December 7, 2011

I love this thing and use it every night. My back is injured and it has begun developing arthritis. The hot water bottle sends the right amount of heat to the exact spot needed and it feels awesome. It doesn't leak at all and it stays hot to warm for hours and hours. There is no unpleasant rubber or plastic smell. I only wish this company made a larger size so I could heat up my entire back all at once.

First, if you can still find one of these - you are doing good. I sleep with an electric pad on my feet at night because of my Plantar Fascititis. Heat always works wonders on my sore tootsies. Then I was taking a trip to China and the electric current is not the same there. Someone recommended a standard water bottle and viola!

My old one leaked so I purchased this one. It is very flexible and does not smell. Looks like it is going to last. I would buy another one for the office.

I got tired of using frozen veggie pkgs. whenever I needed a cold pack, so I bought this. It is a good thing to have in the home as it can be used for heat or for cold. I gave it only 4 stars, because the opening is so small, it only takes tiny crushed ice pieces if you want to add them to cold water. It'd be better if it was large enough for ice cubes to fit through the opening. It's basically a simple, useful, old-fashioned hot water bottle. Since I have a latex allergy, I'm glad it is latex free.
