Finally a book that relates to being a cna. Bethany is a wonderful person and I feel so lucky in knowing her. Reading this book after coming home from a bad day makes you feel good. Everyone,not just cna's, should read this book.

This book is an inspiration to everyone who dedicates their lives to quality caregiving. It will uplift the body, mind, and spirit when you might feel a sense of helplessness as our profession is so demanding physically and emotionally. You'll find it witty, insightful,and elegantly funny. Storytelling of devotion,comittment, compassion and passion, creating a reading experience fulfilling on all levels. The stories practically jump off the pages into real life. It will renew your love for the elderly and your calling as a priviledged caregiver.

i guess i was just looking for a collection of humourous stories from aides who know the ropes and can use their experience to encourage others. i wasn't too enthused to read about how an aide should be doing this and that and what can be improved, written from an ivory tower by someone who has had about as much hands on experience as a volunteer at an assisted living center. i'm glad that i only paid 97 cents for my copy and will be passing it on. however, i dont know any cna's who have time on their few and far between breaks at work that might be willing to spend minutes on yet another undertaking that has yet to touch on the true meaning of this type of work.
