I came across this book in the "new books" section at our public library and decided to check it out. This book is more for pre-school aged kids but the illustrations are amazing! DS who is a 7 yr. old "macho-boy" asked me to renew it three times! I've decided that this is going to be my no-fail "new baby" gift :)

Brilliant. It's my little boys favorite bedtime book. We read it
every night, and as much as I would like to try something else as the last
book before bed, I don't want to upset the rhythm this book has
created.

It's my children's favorite bedtime book...It's cute, it's funny, and brilliantly illustrated. Isn't it funny how the best books are the ones you wish you'd written youreself? Well, this is one of those books.

This is a beautiful goodnight story for toddlers. It's also great for new readers. Both my 3 and 6 year olds love it and we've been reading it as a good night ritual for a couple of years now.

The illustrations are very cute and feature a little monkey on each page. The text is simple and soothing. I've started giving this book as a gift to friends who have newborns because I think it's such a sweet book that will grow with the child.

Wish i could get hold of Andrew Daddo's Cheeky Monkey book it also looks very cute and fun.
