Handling is better but never checked the millage difference . They do make for a bit of a stiffer ride . They need quite a bit of psi in order for you to get the miles out of them . Do not run them at 32psi or they will wear quickly .
Worst tires ever. I replaced the tires on my Toyota minivan with these tires 2 years ago and have regretted it since. I have had 3 of the tires fail. The side walls develop holes. I still have these tires on my van only because they are still under warranty but frankly I'd rather get anything other then these terrible tires. If that is not enough they are noisy and sloppy on turns. These tires cannot handle the easy life of a mini van. Don't get them.
I bought four of these tire for my Honda Odyssey because a good friend works at Goodyear HQ and highly recommended them over Cooper Tires. At first they seemed fine although the first set were replaced because of a problem with the sidewall seams. I also had to replace a tire because a hunk of hard crud like stuff was imbedded in the tire when it was made and worked its way through the tire, The ride was OK but after 45K the wet and snow traction is awful. They are definitely not worth what they cost and friendship aside I doubt I will by a Goodyear tire again. More snow is coming and I need to replace them ASAP. Great tire if you only want 40,000 miles of effective usage
sorry tire's nosiy caused vibrations and could not balance out the vibes!!!!!!!!!on a 2005 honda crv replaced tires with michelins and all problems went away with nothing done to crv. Would not recommend goodyear fuel max tires on any auto!!!
