Unpredictable. Some surfaces resist goof-off while others are DESTROYED in one pass of a rag. Keep this product as far away from your antiques as possible, it eats old paint like stripper. This is NOT AT ALL like goo-gone products. Its just way too powerful to be of any use in most situations. Will clean carpet stains and remove gum. Thats it. Stick to goo-gone or old fashioned lighter fluid for removing adhesive or schmutz on old finishes.
