Anti-crayon solvent.,
By
This review is from: Goof Off The Ultimate Remover, 4.5 oz. easy pour can (2400) (Tools & Home Improvement)
...so it was either the boy or the girl, but one of them pocketed a red crayon and The Wife didn't check their pockets. One look into the dryer told me everything I needed to know: I was going to be buying new clothes.
It occurred to me, though, that I had a can of Goof Off that I was just using to get rid of crayon scribbles on our walls and chairs. The Goof Off didn't take off the furniture finish or the wall paint, so I felt confident. Since the clothes might be getting tossed anyway, I had nothing to lose. It was like magic in a can. I applied some on one really red blotch and I could swear it evaporated in front of me. I was careful to limit the amount I used, and I scrubbed the stains well. The odor is toxic and the solution is highly toxic, so do not use near children or animals that you like. Feel free to use it near animals you do not like. When tossing the treated clothes into your washer, also use 20 Mule Team Borax as a detergent booster. This combination took the stains out of a shirt and three pairs of pants. The odor was knocked down after an extra rinse, and the dryer took care of the remaining odors. Every home should have a can of this. It works wonders on crayon, grease, and inks, and if it says it'll handle something, I have no reason to doubt them. -C

Best remover for labels and adhesive,
This review is from: Goof Off The Ultimate Remover, 4.5 oz. easy pour can (2400) (Tools & Home Improvement)
This is the best product I know of for removing price labels and their adhesive from most surfaces. I've used it for over 10 years. It may damage a few cheap plastics, so test first.

Don't use CDs,

This review is from: Goof Off The Ultimate Remover, 4.5 oz. easy pour can (2400) (Tools & Home Improvement)
After mindlessly following the advice of someone who allegedly used Goof Off to clean a DVD, I ruined one of my favorite CDs because the solvent corroded the whole polycarbonate plastic layer on the disc. Don't use this on CDs or DVDs!!!
