From the Author
From one teacher to another...
I still work with students. Educators everywhere know what I mean when I say that. They know because oftentimes a presenter, author or professor will write a book or hold a workshop about something teachers should be doing in their classrooms to improve student learning, but the "expert" has not been in the classroom for decades. That is why this book is different. I wrote this from direct experience working with Google Apps in my classroom and classrooms in my school.
While writing the book I given about 3,000 high fives, 4,200 knuckle bumps, and mopped up 23 gallons of milk in the lunchroom. My students come up to me and ask, "did you use any of my work in the book?" The answer is YES!!! Many students contributed work for this book to show the reader how it can work to help implement Common Core and technology integration.
Writing this book has been a very rewarding experience. I hope you like it. Please keep in touch and tell me how I am doing.
